THERMAL ADJUST TECHNOLOGY
NIVOSE Thermal Adjust Technology (“TAT”) is a revolutionary system that allows the garment to independently generate heat internally, enabling the wearer to control the thermal performance of the garment at the touch of a button.
The heat is created from carbon-dot printed fabrics that are sewn into strategic places in the garment, and that heat up to warm the body from the inside. Garments equipped with the thermal adjust heating system are fully washable at home.
The TAT heating system can be used by connecting any rechargeable power bank battery to the USB plug in the inside pocket. The time of duration will vary according to the size of the battery, its capacity and the outside temperature.
The temperature can be adjusted by using the button on the outside of the garment. when the wearer presses the button it will illuminate ‘red’ and the jacket will start to heat up to maximum temerature. With each additional pressing, the button will change colours according to the desired temperature selected, so one can easily see and adjust to the desired temperature while wearing.
UNIQUE DETAILS
Innovative design and attention to detail are what set us apart from the rest of the market. Our patented zip pullers were inspired by vintage alpine garments that had been adapted to make them more practical in extreme conditions. The signature ‘T’ shape is especially designed to be easy to manipulate when wearing gloves. Our extra-strength buttons are attached using a sewn webbing tape, allowing for ultimate movement and making them almost totally unbreakable.
THERMODYNAMIC BRANDING
At Nivose we believe the brand comes alive when our products are worn. Our main inside branding label is the ultimate illustration of this. It is crafted using a revolutionary thermodynamic printing technique which means that when the garment is not worn at normal room temperature, the Nivose logo is barely visible. However when the garment is worn, and the label comes into contact with the wearers body temperature, the logo on the label becomes visible in full colour. When the garment is removed and cools down, the logo will again fade to Navy.
THERMAL CARRY-STRAPS
One can experience discomfort and overheating when moving from an outdoor to an indoor environment while wearing a jacket that was designed to keep you warm outside. These adjustable and removable straps allow you take off your jacket so that you don’t overheat, but allow you to effortlessly keep the jacket with you at all times without having to carry or put it down.
Coat-veralls or thermal carry-straps are standard in all of our heavy winterwear jackets.
HEAT COMFORT INDICATOR
Finding the right product that corres-ponds with your thermal requirements can sometimes be complicated. At NIVOSE, every garment is designed for different weather conditions.
The NIVOSE Heat Comfort Indicator system (HCI), allows you to identify which product from our range is best adapted to your needs.
The HCI level is displayed on the label inside each product with a heat scale ranging from 1 (for cool climates) to 5 (for extremely cold climates).
French heritage runs deep in our veins. From the tri-col-our details that permeate throughout the products and remind us of the colours of the French flag, to the quintessentially French ‘savoir faire’ omnipresent in our fit and design. It defines us, and reminds us of who we are and what we stand for.
We pay homage to this heritage, by including the original brand woven label from 1933 inside every product that we make.
